What is a Christian?

Being a Christian means to become like Christ. 

• Our primary mission and most privileged opportunity is to know Jesus more, and thus become more like Him.

• Some effective ways to know Jesus better are to spend time with others who know Him, engage with His word (the Bible), and develop an ongoing relationship with Him through conversational prayer. 

• As we grow in Christ, we will naturally shine the light of God’s love and sow the seeds of hope as we carry the fragrance of His presence everywhere we go. 

• As we become more like Christ, God is able to put Himself on display through the lives that we live!
